About me.

I. I don't like the tag of  gamers anymore. Ten years ago it was a bigger deal than it is today, and I don't even really consider myself a 'gamer' anymore. It's irritating, because just about everyone plays games now. The worse one, though, is 'Girl Gamer'. Okay, just because you lack a penis doesn't mean you're special when it comes to playing video games. I've been playing games since I was four, so suck it, "Girl Gamers". Really I just detest labeling. Be who you are, not a label.

II. I have no delusions of grandeur. Unlike half the semi-decent artists at my school, I don't run around screaming that I want to be a concept artist for the gaming industry. Most people don't realize that that is not an entry level job. Usually all game concept art is done by one or two artists per studio. One day I'd like to have that job, but it sure as hell won't be anytime soon.

III. I just got a tattoo on the inside of my right wrist. It's an elder sign.

IV. I love Roman Numerals, I think they look very nice.

V. I'm a huge mythology buff, and when I say this, I mean actual mythology and legends, not what the media wants you to think about myth and legend. The things the movie and comic industry do to mythology should be a crime. Some things need to be left alone, or done right, if done at all. I'm looking at you, newest version of Clash of the Titans <<

I don't really have many, but I just found out that among my circle of friends I'd have to call playing fighting games a guilty pleasure.

I don't have a use for one, so no.

I just finished The Girl Who Played with Fire

It's not really a cough drop, but when I get a sore throat I just like the sugar in Life Savers.

Christmas for most of us, really, but I don't want to offend anyone :3

The day was good c: Made a good haul on cool books that I now have time to read over the rest of my Christmas break.

I think I've finally released all of the stress that I accumulated over the last week of Finals, which is good, because I checked my grades the other day and I got all A's! YES. It seems as though those weeks of wanting to die were worth it.

At any rate, I'm going to work on some reading now, and work on concepting out my version of Cthulhu for a personal 3D art project. I think I have an idea nailed down, I just need to do a turn around, and a nice painting of my concept. Then I can start working on it in 3D. I hope to be about half done before I have to go back to school and get back to work.

But for now it is football night, with books to read, and a story to write of my own. c: I don't think I can be happy unless I have many things to do at once XD

Oh.

And on another note, it was over 40 degrees here today. Where I live in Wisconsin, it's a crime.

1. What is the one thing you regret out of everything in your life?

Even if there are some shitty things that have happened in my life so far, or some stupid things I shouldn't have done, I make it a policy to not regret them. It's a waste of time to regret, in my opinion. I look at my actions, accept the stupid things, the mean things, and the things that I just messed up, and accept them. There's nothing I can do to change them, so all I can really do is embrace them, and move forward. Hopefully I won't repeat my mistakes of the past. So, no regrets :3

2. Do you admire someone? Who?

I tend to not admire people, I'm just thankful that they're in my life. Though if I had to say that I admired someone, it would be Kyle Landry (whom I have never met D: ) and I admire him because he's an amazing pianist, and I am not musical in anyway.

3. Is there someone that you miss right now?

I tell only my closest friends that I'll miss them until I see them again =u= And there's only a handful of those.

4. Are you single?

Painfully so.

5. Do you have a dream you think is impossible?

Sometimes it is easy for the idea that my career dream is impossible to slip into my head, so, yes. That, and I used to have a dream of becoming a writer, and that one, I think, is even more unlikely. Unless I pen something that teenage girls will fan over.

6. What is the name of an old teacher that you liked?

My old art teacher, Ms. Badtke.

7. When was your first kiss?

I really don't remember.

8. What's one superhero power you want?

Telekinesis. Really. Because if you had complete control over your powers, there isn't anything that you couldn't do with it.

9. Favorite video game?

If I had to pick just one? Oh.....:/ I'd have to say......Phantasy Star Online for the Gamecube. I never got to play it while it was an online game, but I sunk so many hours into my single player game on that thing it really isn't even funny. My character was level....120 or so, I think, and I'd beaten the game on every difficulty by myself, and with friends. I just sunk so much time into it, and kept playing it, that it is by far my favorite of all time. And you thought I was going to say Halo! LOL (Halo is my favorite series, though =3= )

10. What do you see yourself becoming when you're older?

Haha, I already am old.....but, hopefully in the future I'll get to be a 3D modeler for a video game studio. That's as high as I want to shoot for now, until I have the job =3=

I like updating on what I do sometimes, just to keep track of things, if anything.

My summer quarter of school is almost over, I only have class until the 22nd of this month. That said, all of my finals seem to be going well, so I like to keep my fingers crossed on that. I might post some animations on here from my animation class, or some finished renders of my 3D models. We'll have to see how it goes.

That aside, it means I have time for other things! Yay!

I've started a book of found poetry, which I might start posting some of the pages from soon. I hope to fill it all, it's about 260 some pages. Got my roommate Emma into the found poetry thing too, and I gave her the book I didn't start working on yet. She's got a long way to go o-o That one was like, 450 pages, but it was made with beautiful, old paper. Mine is too c: I'm excited to be able to show some of my work so far on it.

I also had two really cool, vivid dreams last night, that I remembered a lot from, and may be turning them into works of fiction. I already started with my first dream, and it's kind of exciting, because I even named the characters in my dream! Woo!

The first dream which I translated into an idea is a zombie theme kind of thing. Which is weird, because I'm not all about zombies, but it was kinda cool, so we'll see where it goes.

The second dream was of a world that was ravaged by disease, so people turned to extremely religiously centered communities to survive. The narrator is found and taken into one of these villages, and meets a young man there who has gained the ability to do magic. It had something to do with being infected with the virus that ravaged the population, but surviving, and whatnot. It will be set in the future, but kind of in the past, as people will have had to give up things like cars and the internet due to lack of electricity, ect.

I dunno, both the ideas were really cool, and I'm always excited when I see scenes in my dreams that would make good fiction. Maybe it's because I sleep with classical music on o-o I always have strange dreams when I do that...

Anyway, that's all I have for updates for now c:
